Here is a recap of the last week of NBA News and trade chatter.
The Philadelphia 76ERS Have signed SG/SF Corey Brewer to a 10 day contract.

Dallas Mavericks PG Dennis Smith Jr went on the trade block after clashing with head coach Rick Carlisle.
Smith has since returned to the team and is not currently available.

The Washington Wizards are resistant to move Bradley Beal or Otto Porter Jr and believe they can still make the playoffs. 
The Houston Rockets continue to look for depth and roster upgrades. Robin Lopez, Kent Bazemore and Dwayne Dedmon are names that have been discussed.

Turkey says Knicks C Enes Kanter is part of a terrorist group and wants him extradited for arrest.
The Memphis Grizzlies are committed to moving SF Chandler Parsons by the trade deadline. Memphis has no interest in attaching a 1st but a 2nd and or additional player could be used as sweetners.

Per an anonymous league executive. PF Kyle Kuzma is the only part of the Lakers core with star potential and would be highly desirable in a trade package for an established star or superstar.

Lakers PG Lonzo Ball will miss 4-to-6 weeks with a Grade 3 left ankle sprain. Per league source real timeline could be closer to 10 weeks.

The Memphis Grizzlies have signed SF Bruno Caboclo.

.The Houston Rockets have waived SG/SF James Nunnally.
The Rockets could not get a Melo trade finalized in time. If they find a place for Carmelo Anthony I expect Nunnally will be re-signed. The Lakers remain the favorites when a solution is reached.

Per league source the Memphis Grizzlies are open to moving C Marc Gasol by the trade deadline. Does not guarantee a deal but they will listen to offers.

Per league source, prior to John Wall's injury the La Lakers attempted to trade for him offering a package of Lonzo Ball, KCP and Josh Hart to the Wizards the offer was declined.


Outside of Charlotte the other teams with trade interest in Marc Gasol include: The San Antonio Spurs, LA Clippers, LA Lakers. Charlotte Hornets.

​The Clippers and Lakers are also showing strong trade interest in Magic C Nick Vucavic and SG/SF Terrence Ross Same sources say Magic enamored with Clipper youngsters Angel Delgado and Sindarius Thornwell another name that interests the Magic is Laker C Ivica Zubac
