Alright, it's go time for every team around the league. About 48 hours until the trade deadline is over. Many questions still are up in the air. Will Aaron Gordon be traded? What about Victor Olidipo? John Wall? Kyle Lowery? Demar Derozan? LaMarcus Aldridge? Russell Westbrook? Ricky Rubio? Malcolm Brogdon? Patrick Beverly? Nikola Vucevic? John Collins? Lonzo Ball?
I could keep going on but I think we all understand by now that no player is safe from a trade and teams are trying to improve before their playoff runs. Aaron Gordon looks like it's down to 2 main teams and maybe a sleeper 3rd team. Golden State and the Denver Nuggets with the Houston Rockets maybe being able to sneak into the hunt. Where is Victor going to be traded? Miami could be a clear destination as Victor has always wanted to play there. Other teams have shown interests as well. Lonzo Ball looks to be on the move as well with the Knicks and the Bulls being the front runners to land him. Kyle Lowery seems to be going to Miami because of his relationship with Jimmy Butler. This is interesting because it would need to be a 3 or 4 team deal. Demar is also on the trade market who is best friends with Kyle Lowery and both could end up in Miami if both choose so. The Spurs are having a hard time finding a trade partner for LaMarcus Aldridge so a buyout looks likely. The Heat are high on his list but so are a number of contending teams. Where will he end up if he ends up being bought out by the Spurs? Russell Westbrook seems to be on the move again. Many teams who would like an explosive point guard are talking to the Wizards about a trade. The Clippers are looking to upgrade at the PG position as well and a trade for Ricky Rubio seems to be their answer. That would send Patrick Beverly on the move as well. The Celtics and Miami Heat both have been linked to John Collins but my sources say that the Celtics are unwilling to trade Jaylen Brown for him but that has yet to be seen. Malcom Brogdon has quietly been made available for a trade from the Pacers. He is a young point guard who has improved his outside shooting and he has the ability to guard multiple positions and get to the rim when needed. This is interesting as many teams are wanting to improve the PG position. Who else could the Pacers trade before the deadline if they choose to trade Malcom? Nikola Vucevic could also be on the move as well. It seems like with him and Aaron Gordon most likely traded that they are in a rebuilding process. But where will Nikola be traded? The Heat have also been linked to trading for him but it is unlikely if they trade for other players. Another team is the Denver Nuggets that have shown major interest as well but the Magic aren't just going to trade him for nothing, they will be asking for a big price for him who seems to be entering the prime of his career. Clearly there should be a lot of movement going on in the next 48 hours with a lot of big names going to new teams. It will all play out like it's supposed to but it will be exciting nonetheless to see what happens. The Recommended Content Widget will appear here on the published site.
