Jimmy Butler is a top 20 player, four time all star and one of the best two way players in the game.
The problem is he is also a bit of a diva, and no longer remembers his humble past, or is he just so driven that he clashes with less motivated teammates? Here is the latest on his trade request from the Minnesota Timberwolves : The Houston Rockets are the current front runners with a package centered around Eric Gordon and their 2019 1st. The Miami Heat are not willing to part with Josh Richardson and have mostly negotiated on a package of either Goran Dragic or Tyler Johnson and Justise Winslow, a swap of Hassan Whiteside and Gorgui Dieng has also been discussed. The Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers have had also been in talks and are monitoring the situation. The Sacramento Kings according to our sources have been involved in talks as a third team facilitator. The Kings would be willing to absorb a bad contract preferably for a 1st round pick. The Miami Heat made an aggressive push to finalize a deal with was said to have made it to the red zone but final details were not agreed to. The Houston Rockets made the most aggressive push recently getting basic framework in place and pushing to finalize a deal. Making it as close as the 1 yard line or 5 yard line according to sources. Negotiations have since come to a halt. As of today Jimmy Butler is still a member of the Timberwolves but Houston and Miami continue to wait for either the acceptance of an offer or renewed negotiations. The Timberwolves can try to be patient and wait for offers to improve but the question remains how much longer do they want this distraction to hang over their season? The Sacramento Kings Young Core is Underrated > If you read most media outlets you will notice plenty of love for the Phoenix Suns young talent and the youngsters on the Lakers. You won't hear the same said about the Sacramento Kings. For the last decade only three things have been likely, death, taxes and the Kings making poor basketball decisions. Beginning in 2016 that started to change the Kings began to stockpile assets and at the trade deadline moved on from their All Star big man Demarcus Cousins and accepted a rebuild.
