2021 NBA draft scouting notes
Excellent versatile scorer, good playmaker, elite athlete, handle needs to be tightened up a bit,
6’6 combo guard with good size and length, especially for position with a 7’0.25 wingspan. 3 point shot also could use improvement.
Elite scoring ability reminds me of prime Carmelo Anthony can score the basketball with the best of them. 6’5 athletic guard, solid length with a 6’7.5 wingspan and 8’5 standing reach. Quick first step in the open floor. Light on his feet and glides on the court. Explosive and natural athlete. Flashes elite quickness.
Jalen Johnson possesses Lebron like passing ability and high level scoring ability.
Needs to add bulk but the talent to be elite is pretty obvious.
Evan Mobley- Unicorn like 7 footer who must have been created by the CIA. The secret is out very real superstar ability if he can add muscle and bulk up. Elite scorer and high end rebounder with defensive tools that boggle the mind.
In future This is our first mock draft for the 2021 NBA draft. Keep in mind it's early in the NBA season so the team draft order is far from set. Many of these prospects are still in high school so this is a raw projection based on high school playing tape. As we get closer to the 2021 NBA draft we will update our projections. In future 2021 NBA Mock draft's we will cover the entire first round.

In August we posted our season projections:
Thus far the results have been mixed. We picked the Hawks and Knicks to make a leap and make the playoffs. Atlanta is in the mix but NY has had a slow start. We had the Sacramento Kings as a bottom playoff seed and they have started 0-5. The Cleveland Cavaliers have surprised us the most thus far out performing our projections and being in the playoff hunt.
Basketball Rehab's most controversial projection is looking strong however. We had the Golden State Warriors missing the playoffs and Zion Williamson being injury prone. Both are looking strong early on.
A reminder these are some of the reasons why we projected Golden State Warriors to miss the playoffs:
Poor Bench Play
Lack of Starter Quality Talent
Klay Thompson Injury
Defensive Drop Off
Nostradamus will be back soon to tell us more of the basketball future so stay tuned.
