We here at Basketball Rehab have spoken to a trusted league source there are fears that Lebron James groin injury contains a partial muscle tear or a grade 2 strain. This would sideline James for up to two months. A MRI is scheduled to determine the severity. A grade 1 strain for Lebron would reduce the recovery time to 2-3 weeks. We also are told that the injury was caused by slipping on the court trying to get into position for a selfie with Kevin Hart and not a knee to the groin as was reported elsewhere.
Lebron James has a grade 1 strain so the good news is no tearing.
